I was born in Derby and grew up in the Midlands both my parents were Jamaican immigrants. I enjoyed my childhood outdoors and free which is where I get my love of nature from. As long as I can remember I have written stories poems and songs, I love to read and I love music.
I now live in Hertfordshire and when I had children of my own and started taking them to the library and reading books to them, I realised then that I wanted my stories out there too. So I just kept writing with this quote in mind

Podcaster
No matter what is going on in your world escaping to somewhere else with a story is a gift. I want to ensure we keep giving it. Children (and adults) are reading less and less for pleasure and I want to combat this. That’s why I am developing the podcast Read Learn Fly to keep on promoting literacy with children.
I titled myself a Reading Ambassador because I am someone who actively promotes reading to and with children. I am a school governor with a link to the subjects of reading and music.
